Overview

For one final month, Lines of Flight fills Brixton House with photography, performance, film, workshops, conversation and music. November is an invitation to experience the artists, ideas and communities that have shaped the programme over the past year, and to share in the encounters, conversations and celebrations that continue to grow from them.

At the heart of the month is Under the Same Sun, Asafe Ghalib's photography exhibition exploring queer migration, visibility and belonging across Latin America. Alongside it, two shows 50 Ways to Kill a Slug unfolds across by Dre Spisto and Joana Nastari, bringing together theatre, humour and radical tenderness to imagine softer, more collective ways of living in a world shaped by productivity and exhaustion.

The programme continues with Studio Lenca's Movimiento and the live conversation On Record: When We Move Sideways, exploring migration, community and the stories we carry with us. In Leading with Joy, movement and storytelling become tools for collective imagination, offering another way to think about leadership, belonging and change through shared experience.

We close Lines of Flight in the same spirit in which it has unfolded: by coming together. Developed in collaboration with COMO NO, the final celebration brings live Afro-Colombian percussion together with contemporary Afro-Latin sounds for an evening of music, dancing and collective celebration. Throughout the year, Lines of Flight has created conditions for artists, ideas and communities to meet. November is a celebration of everything those encounters continue to make possible.
