A big thanks to everyone who came down to Bolivar Hall and made our Launch Event such a success. It was great to catch up with old friends and make lots of new ones too. Simon Evans and the actors did an amazing job of making House of Desires come alive with just a day’s rehearsal, and the great music of David Chebair tied the whole night together perfectly. As promised.. the full line up of companies was announced and the information is now up on on the website here.

We’re really excited about the shows that are coming, and we’ll have sneak preview trailers of all shows up on the website soon. Which show intrigues you the most? Why not tweet us your thoughts?

We also announced the details of our Design Competition. We’re looking for the lead image for our marketing campaign, and we know there is some great talent out there that maybe hasn’t yet had the chance to get their work seen. You could be a pro, a student or just a talented amateur. You might be a designer, an artist, an actor or even a baker, a banker, a cleaner or an insurance salesman. It doesn’t matter. What counts is the work, and we’d love to see it and help promote new talent.
We’re particularly keen to get entries from the Latin American community, but we welcome work from people of all backgrounds and we won’t give preferential treatment. To find out more click here. It may not be for you, but it might be for someone you know, so spread the word!

That’s all for now, we’re off to plan our team lunch at Lupita to get more of that tasty food we all had at our Launch Event. Thanks to those guys for bringing it down. It really was the icing on the cake. Or should I say the guacamole on the tortilla?…
