About CASA
Since 2007, CASA has placed Latinx arts at the heart of the UK’s cultural conversation.
This 2025, we entered a new phase. As an Associate Company at Brixton House, we’re transitioning from an annual festival to a year-round arts organisation - deepening collaborations with artists, grassroots organisations, and communities, while acknowledging and expanding our focus to include Hispanic Caribbean and its diasporic arts, reflecting the longstanding creative dialogue between Latin America, the Caribbean, and their communities in the UK.
Through commissions, residencies, and professional development, we’ve supported over 2,000 artists and reached audiences of more than 100,000 - creating spaces where art challenges perspectives, sparks dialogue, and drives change.
Founded to address the lack of representation of Latin American arts in the UK, CASA has evolved from a theatre festival into a cross-disciplinary organisation fostering artistic development, curatorial experimentation, and cultural exchange.
Approaching our 20th anniversary, this new phase marks both a moment of reflection and renewal, expanding our impact while staying true to the values that have guided us since 2007.
Our vision is to be the UK’s leading organisation for Latinx, Hispanic Caribbean, and its diasporic arts, placing their artistic excellence at the heart of the UK’s cultural conversation. We’re committed to a sustainable and inclusive model of cultural production that thrives on innovation, diversity, and bold creative expression - inspiring audiences and catalysing social change through the transformative power of art.
