This year, CASA is all about Latin America’s most innovative emerging artists and companies bringing fantastic new work to the UK.
But before October’s amazing line-up of shows, we have a fantastic new all-night event called the Night of Ideas on the 13th September. Check it out, it’s going to be great.
Then you’ve got a month to catch up on your sleep before you come and discover eleven outstanding international shows from some of the continent’s most exciting companies including Jorge Costa’s sublime clown shows Visite Argentina and Mi.Me, “Cacho” Gallegos’ darkly imaginative Barrio Caleidoscopio and delightful family show Plush and four wonderful shows from Tryo Teatro Banda and Caldo Con Enjundia, two Chilean companies who joyously combine politics, live music and slapstick to tell important stories about fighting for your rights.
With Tamsin Clarke’s Nuestra CASA Scratch Night-winning Manuelita, brand new work from our Artists-in-Residence and Community Theatre Group, and a complementary programme of debates, talks, workshops and Latin American music, art, food and drink, we’ve never had a stronger festival programme.
