Sueño Cabaret opens its doors for the first time ever on Thursday 16th October at Rich Mix London in the heart of London’s East End. Join your host, London’s very own Mexican Spitfire, the hostess with the mostess, the delectable star of the internationally acclaimed The Lipsinkers, Mr. Blanche DuBois and enjoy the most surreal, exotic and sexy Latin American cabaret performers London has to offer.
So come on down to Rich Mix and discover a fiesta bursting with Latin flavours including “Delicious Drag Margaritas” from Jai Barnarde (Mexico), “Buxom Burlesque Coladas” by Miss Cherry-on-Fire (Brazil), “Magical Mime Mojitos” and “Cheeky Caipirinhas Canciones” all the way from Chile by Mr Isco, a presentation by singer-songwriter Gabriella Mazure … and, of course, much much more!

On Friday 17th dance the night away to ERI OKAN BLOCO and DJ Chilango!
After the room-shaking success of their brilliant opening gig at the Joga Bola! festival, ERI OKAN BLOCO are back at Rich Mix to keep those Brazilian party vibes alive at CASA 2014. With over 15 drummers, a bad-ass horn section, and Brazilian diva Rebeca Valim bringing alive a furious fusion of the drums of Bahia, old school Afro-samba grooves and samba reggae vibes, this is sure to set the dancefloor jumping, and set the final weekend off in style.
Live music followed by a DJ set from Chilango (Oscar Arroyo), who was born and grew up in Mexico City; he moved to London around 6 years ago where he started exploring nu-cumbia and some other tropical rhythms, and to DJ regularly in parties and special events like Pisco Disco, Movimientos, Muévete, Glastonbury Festival, London MexFest, etc.
His sets are highly influenced by ZZK Records and Surtek Collective; he also likes to play lots of bassy electro-cumbia, moombahton and tropical mash-ups, that he describes as music “alebrijes”. Check out his music here!
And on Saturday 18th October, shake your hips with one of London’s most established, prolific and exciting Latin Amercan band… CONJUNTO SABROSO!
