Artists. Dancers. Funders. Culture workers. An evening where titles take a back seat and people meet as people first.
Presented by CASA and Counterpoints Arts
Movement, Wellbeing & Social Change brings together people working across dance, performance and the cultural sector for an evening of performances, conversations, shared experiences and informal exchange.
Rather than a traditional panel or networking event, the gathering creates space to connect through different ways of being together. Through performance, conversation and embodied practices, it asks how our bodies and creative practices can become spaces for care, connection and collective reflection.
At a time when working in the arts can often feel defined by pressure, precarity and constant productivity, the evening offers an opportunity to slow down, meet beyond professional roles and consider how we might build more supportive ways of working with ourselves and each other.
Part of Lines of Flight
This event is part of Acts of Looking, the final chapter of Lines of Flight, CASA’s year-round multi-arts programme at Brixton House. Across exhibitions, residencies, dance, performance and celebration, Acts of Looking asks what we choose to pay attention to, what remains unseen, and how changing the way we look might change the way we live.
