This autumn, Lines of Flight returns to Brixton House with - Acts of Looking - its final chapter.
Since launching in November 2025, our multi-arts programme has brought together some of the most compelling artistic voices working across Latin America, the Caribbean and their diasporas. Across four evolving chapters, Lines of Flight has moved through questions of perception, movement and the systems that shape our lives, embracing ambiguity, contradiction and the possibility of seeing things differently along the way.

What deserves our attention? What remains invisible? Which ways of knowing have we been taught to overlook?
Every act of looking is also an act of choosing.
Across exhibitions, art residencies, dance, performance and celebration, we invite you to slow down and attend to forms of knowledge and ways of living that often remain at the margins.
In October, Acts of Looking turns towards our relationships with bodies, materials, landscapes and other forms of life. We invites you to slow down and consider what becomes possible when you pay attention differently, culminating in a full day of movement, performance and collective encounter across Brixton House on 25 October.
In November, we shift the attention towards the stories we carry, how and where we belong, and the ways we make space for one another. Photography, performance, film and conversation lead towards the final gathering of Lines of Flight on 21 November – a day ending, fittingly, on the dance floor.
